Hello, I’m Clara and I’m going to talk about the Comenius Project that we have got this year.
First I’m going to talk about the different activities that we have done. On the beginning of the course, we created a blog. We do the Comenius project with some students of Västervik, in Sweden so they created a blog too and we can share all our works of Comenius. We share, for example, our Christmas traditions, the traditional recipes in Catalonia and in Sweden… We can also see the favorite English song of each other.
In the blog we uploaded different compositions too, like the presentation of us, our hobbies, a story invented by ourselves…
The activities I liked most were our favorite song because I liked to share our tastes and I liked learning more things about my song, and I also liked a lot the activity of Christmas, when we had to invent a song in English. It was very funny and I think that we enjoy it a lot.
The activity I did not like was the oral presentation because I don’t like to talk in front of so much people and I was a little nervous.
I think the oral presentation was very difficult because we had to talk in English and the pupils in our class listened to you.
I think that correcting the exercises is very boring and I hate the homework. I like watching film because I love films and we learn a little English.
About the oral presentation I do it with Cristina and Miriam. We did Gósol. We met some days to prepare the PowerPoint and the text that we had to do. We found the information in some books of Gósol and in Internet. We also looked at the “Enciclopèdia Catalana”. I tried to watch the audience but in some moments I looked to my notes to orientate a little.
I don’t remember if I use markers or fillers but I know that I said some words in Catalan. In general, we learn some English words with work. I think that I was a little monotone. If I were the teacher I will have a seven because I said some Catalan words and I didn’t speak very well.
About the blog I live it a lot. I have uploaded all the works until now. I think that in general it is well-designed but I haven’t got a lot of links.
I think that I have learned some English this year because I have involved a lot because of the Comenius and the different activities that we have done.
My English have improved a lot I think: my grammar, the vocabulary, the writing… But I think that my speaking isn’t very correct.
In conclusion I think that the Comenius project helps us very much to improve our English.

MY CHILDHOOD
Do you remember when you were a child?
Write about childhood memories.
When I was a child, I went to St. Joan School. I had a lot of friends I n my class. I remember when in the playground my friends and I played together.
Sometimes we played football, other days we played hide-and-seek… W were very happy.
I also remember the Christmas with my family. I always laugh when I watch a video of my childhood. All the family were knocking the “tió”. It was, as it is now, very funny.
When I was a child, I played all the day with my old cousin. She is five years older than me. We played when my cousin came in Berga, because she lived and, still lives, in Merlès. We were cooks, hairdressers, shopkeepers… All the jobs! It was fantastic and when my brother was born, he was our son or our brother… I was very thrilled when my parents said to me:
- You will have a brother!
It was enjoyable. A new member in the family!
In the hospital, a lot of people came to see him. I slept in my grandparent’s home and I remembered the stories that my grandpa told me.
I loved so much him. Then, when my parents arrived at home with my brother, I became the old sister and I played with my brother and annoyed him.

I'M YOURS (by Jason Mraz)The song that I have chosen is “I’m yours” of Jason Mraz. It isn’t my favourite song, because I haven’t got any favourite song, but I like it a lot.
Jason Mraz is popular especially thanks to this song. He is a singer-songwriter. His real name is Jason Thomas Mraz. He was born in the USA, in Mechanicsville, Virgínia, in 23 of July in 1977.
He studied musical theatre in the American Musical and Dramatic Academy of New York, and then he moved to live in San Diego.
In 2001 he married with Sheridan Edley but they got divorced in some months.
One year later, Jason worked with Elektra Records discography and then he worked with a lot of popular artists, and introduces some singles.
In 2008 he introduces his thirst album: “We sing. We dance. We steal things”. The single of this album was “I’m yours”. He got his total success with this song. It is the most famous song of Jason Mraz. Then he has collaborated with a lot of artists and recently, ha has appeared in "We are the World 25 for Haiti", with a lot of others important singers at the moment.

I like the general message of the song too, because it explains that can be a love without complications and with freedom. I don’t find any negative aspect in the song because I like the voice of the singer, the lyrics and the melody but there are some parts that I didn’t understand only listening. I have to read the lyrics to understand the song. I don’t want to change something from it. I like “I’m yours “as it is.
I like the videoclip too, because it shows a lot of very beautiful places and landscapes. It gives you a free and cheerful feeling. It’s also in the summer and it transmits a calm, hot and happy feeling. It’s very nice to see. I think that it’s a little connected to the lyrics because it gives the same feelings that the lyrics.
In the videoclip, there are a boy, Jason Mraz, who travels and meets a lot of different places and different people. He transmits a very free feeling. He jumps into the sea, he swims, he goes with different people… He travels freely and relaxing, without worries.

PREDICTIONS
WHAT WILL BE MY LIFE LIKE IN 20 YEARS?
In twenty years, I will be 34 years old. I think that I won’t be very tall but I won’t be short. My hair will be as it is now but, maybe, shorter. I will be a good person. I will be stubborn. I want to be a cheerful and nice person too in the future.
I will marry with a nice and handsome boy. We will have two children a boy and a girl. Their names will be Roc and Emma. We will be a very nice family but sometimes, as all the families, we will argue but not very often. I will live in Berga but we will have a house in Sant Antoni de Calonge too.
I will be a vet. Every morning I will go walking to my vet clinic. I will cure a lot of animals. My husband will take the children to school. He will be teacher of a little school in a village near Berga.
I will practice different hobbies. I will go to painting classes because I will love drawing and painting. I will love the animals very much but we won’t have got any pet because he will have to stay all the day alone in house. My parents will have got a dog and my parents-in-law will have got two horses and a vegetable garden in Avià. In my free time I will stay with these pets or my family and I will like sport so I will practice some sport. I won’t smoke. I will practice music too. I will be busy but I think I will be happy.

Recipe of crème caramels of egg
CRÈME CARAMEL OF EGG
FLAM
FLAN
COOK TIME: 11 minutes of preparation and a hour of cooking.
LEVEL: Medium.
INGREDIENTS:
- 600 milliliters of milk.
- Five eggs.
- 150 grams of sugar.
METHOD:
1. Put the sugar in a saucepan reserving two tablespoons for later. Simmer and let sugar melt until it is all liquid and caramelized.
2. Immediately, pour it into containers.
3. In another bowl, beat the eggs. When they begin to froth, add the two tablespoons of sugar that we have reserved, and the milk and mix that very well.
4. When the mixture is homogeneous, pour in the containers where we have put the caramel before.
5. Then, cook the crème caramels in a “bain-marie”: put the crème caramels in a container with a little of water. The water has to arrive at the middle of the crème caramels’ containers but it hasn’t to enter inside them.
6. Put the container with the crème caramels and the water bathing them inside the oven and let cook on medium heat for about one hour.
7. Check that the crème caramels are cooked and if they are really cooked, put them in the fridge and let them cool all night.
8. Then, you can serve the crème caramels of egg.

STORY
It was a dark and stormy night when my mother arrived at home. She was scared and very nervous. She was tired. My mother said:
- There are ghosts in the forest!! I saw them!!
Then she fell asleep. We live in a lonely house in the forest. Sometimes, people from the village said to me that, in that forest, there are ghosts, but my parents always said that it can’t be true.
That night I took a bag and put some food and drinks inside it. Then I went to explore the forest. I wasn’t frightened of ghosts. When I left my house, my father was sleeping.
I started to walk but I didn’t see anything. We were starting to think that my mother’s ghosts were imaginations when I saw someone or something near a tree. Suddenly it appears behind me and started to laugh. It was a ghost!! When I started to run it said:
- Hi, what are this young girl doing in the forest at half past one at night?
It was a beautiful and young voice and I answered:
- Who are you? Why are you living in this forest? Are you really a ghost?
- Stop please! I can’t answer so much questions! I’m really a ghost but I’m not bad. I’m a good ghost. I don’t want to scare people. I live in these forest because I was dead here, it was an accident. Please don’t tell that there is a ghost to anyone.
- But they know you live in the forest. My mother saw you.
- No, they supposed it, and your mother is a good person. She is going to understand my problem.
- What is the problem?
- I can’t live but I can’t die.
- Of course. You are a ghost.
- But I’m not happy in this life. I want to live or to dead. I can live if someone loves me.
I looked at him. He looked like a good ghost. He was kind and I didn’t have a lot of friends. My parents were very good persons and, although it was incredible, they are going to understand me and the ghost.
Since that day Matt, the ghost, and me started to play every afternoon. When I had an exam, Matt helped me to study. We became friends. And one beautiful day, Matt, my ghost friend became Matt my friend. The ghost transformed a boy.
Today we are very good friends. Matt is the best friend that I have never had, and in the forest, there aren’t ghosts. My family, Matt and I are happy!

I'm Clara
My name is Clara. I'm 13 years old. I live in Berga with my parents and my brother. My parents' names are Enric and Imma, and my brother is Marc. I go in "IES Guillem de Berguedà" high school. I do 3st of ESO. My birthday is on 26th December. It is at Christmas and I like it. My brother and I always fight but I love him and he loves me.
I go to high school every morning at half past eight. In the Monday's afternoon I sometimes do some sport. on Wednesday, in the afternoon I go to paint and to the music school to play flute. On Thursday we finish the classes at 2 o'clock and we have got free afternoon. I go to the music school to learn music too. On Friday we have got the free afternoon too and I go to music school to play the piano. Then I go home and I do my homework or I play computer games. On the Fridat's evenings we, my parents, y brother and I, watch a film while we have dinner. I think it is funny.
I love so much animals. I think they're very interesting and very beautiful. I like music. I like playing flute and piano.
